Turns out it's not toxicity, just light reflecting off the poor-to-begin-with Spanish Air.
But the pictures are siiiiick.

1. The solar tower is 115m (377ft) tall and surrounded by 600 steel reflectors (heliostats). They track the sun and direct its rays to a heat exchanger (receiver) at the top of the tower
2. The receiver converts concentrated solar energy from the heliostats into steam
3. Steam is stored in tanks and used to drive turbines that, eventually, will produce enough electricity for up to 6,000 homes.
That may look cool, but this is cooler:
I'm getting one of these for my Maserati.

Tyler!
So I just read your entire blog... This took me a lot longer than I thought, considering you just started it this week. (are you kidding?) But I did realize one thing...You are crazier than I thought. And this, for some reason, made my crush for you grow even more!
It would have been awesome if the Catholic Church had made their own poder plant and made the tower a huge crucifix. Mama Maria!
